We upped the ante for the holiday. Four boxes, each loaded with $500, totaling two grand on the line. We told everyone if the post hit 1,000 likes, we’d double that to $1,000 a box—didn’t happen, so $2,000 total stayed the prize.
For this hunt, we stashed a box at a secret location somewhere around Tampa. Once the box was hidden, we took a photo and a video of the exact spot, without being super obvious as to where it was, so people could try to look for it.
We then posted that video to our story and let the hunt begin. After posting, we stayed nearby and waited for the first person to find the box before revealing anything else. Once it was claimed, we moved on to the next location, hid the next box, and repeated the process until all the boxes were found.
